Dr. Derrick Thomas, DDS
Dr. Thomas is a dental specialist in prosthodontics. He received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Tennessee. Following completion of his dental degree, he went on to complete a three year residency program in Houston at the University of Texas becoming a specialist in Prosthodontics. Dr. Thomas has a special interest in oral rehabilitation and replacement of missing teeth. His areas of focus include, full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Dr. Thomas is highly involved in education to ensure he is on the forefront of his field. He served three years as an instructor to dental students teaching them the fundamentals of prosthodontics in both laboratory and clinical settings. He frequently lectures to both general dentists and dental specialists. He maintains affiliations with local, national, and international organized dentistry and prosthodontics.
Following completion of his residency training, Dr. Thomas and his wife Megan moved back to their home town of Knoxville, TN. Dr. Thomas opened Restore Prosthodontics & Implant Center in 2020 bringing the highest quality and latest technology that dentistry has to offer to their home town.
